Meta Start Guide
Before you view:
1. Install a VR player
Meta headset does not have a built in VR player app, so you will need to install one. We used Pigasus.
2. Download VR app
From your headset, click on the apps icon (looks like a square in the bottom right with a bunch of dots) > Click "Get More Apps" in the lower right and search for Pigasus or your desired VR player. Once you've purchased or located the app you prefer an Install button will display on the app icon > Click to install.
Or you can purchase/locate an app on your PC. Once you've completed this step, when you go back to your headset, the Install icon will already be displayed. Click to install.
3. Change App settings if needed
Many apps are in 2D screen mode by default. To properly view our 3D VR videos, you will need to enable surround mode and/or 3D mode. Please note that 360 surround videos should be viewed in surround mode. If the video looks wonky, you need to ensure the settings are correct for your video.
Getting a Video:
4. Download a YanksVR Video
Download a YanksVR video to your computer in the folder of your choosing and then side load to your Meta headset.
Alternatively, you may visit the site and login as you would on your computer from your headset. However, with the larger video size, we recommend sideloading vs streaming for better viewing experience.
Viewing the a Video:
5. Launch your VR player app
Your videos should be listed within the app. Click to view.
Meta VR Porn Trouble Shooting
Video looks flat or wonky.
You need to ensure the video is playing in the proper screen type, which differs for 360 or 3D.
The device may automatically detect this for you, but if not, you can easily change the screen type in your VR app.
Remember that there are both 3D and 360 surround videos available and settings will be different for each.
